Principal's News

Erin Macdonald, principal@olgcdeepdene.catholic.edu.au

Mother of love, of sorrow and of mercy, pray for us. Remember, O Virgin Mother of God, when thou shalt stand before the face of the Lord, that thou speak favourable things in our behalf and that He may turn away His indignation from us.

Amen

Dear Parents and Students,

It has been a very busy and exciting fortnight. The students have been involved in Yr. 5/6 Gala Day, School Photos, ANZAC Day service, The Feast of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Centenary Celebrations and Mass, Yr. 5/6 Debating program and our Cross Country yesterday.  It is now time to settle back into the routine of learning and teaching.

THANK YOU

Thank you to all our parents for affording the staff a Professional Development day last week. In order for the staff to offer your children the very best and most current educational practices, it is imperative that they have time to learn from the experts and from each other. Last Friday the staff worked with Cecily Kerr and Joyce Dunne to gain a greater understanding and methods of implementing the Science of Reading to your children. Your support of the staff on this journey is greatly appreciated.

MUM & CHILD/REN PHOTOS

Could you please email me one photo of you with your child/ren for our Mother's Day presentation? principal@olgcdeepdene.catholic.edu.au

If I could have all photos by this Friday 3 May it would be greatly appreciated.
