Principal Team Update

Hi BPS families,

What a wonderful afternoon we had last Friday for Grandparents and Special Persons Day! Thank you to everyone who joined us - it was a joy to welcome so many special visitors into our school and classrooms. The students were proud to share the activity with their guests, creating lasting memories together. We truly value the strong sense of community and connection that days like this bring, and we appreciate your time, warmth, and involvement. A big well done to our Year 5 students who confidently led our assembly.

In today’s digital world, children are growing up surrounded by technology, making digital safety more important than ever. At school, we are committed to helping students become safe, respectful and responsible online - but this learning is most powerful when reinforced at home.

Next Thursday evening, in partnership with Beaumaris North Primary School, we will host a Digital Safety Information Session for parents and carers, presented by Inform & Empower. Martin and Carley McGauran will share practical strategies and the latest advice to help you support your child’s online habits with confidence. We strongly encourage all parents/carers to attend and look forward to seeing many of you there.

In the last week of Term 2, on Monday 30th June, Semester 1 student reports will be available on Compass for parents and carers. These will provide information about your child's progress, achievements and areas for continued growth, and are a valuable opportunity to reflect on your child's learning . Parent Teacher Interviews will run early in Term 3, where you can make a time to to discuss your child's report further with their teacher/s. Details on dates and how to book will be sent out via Compass early in Term 3. 

Olivia in Year 4 is competing at the Regional Cross Country event tomorrow - good luck, Liv! We are all cheering you on!
