Year 7 Music Program

Students from 7 Red and 7 Silver are learning to play an orchestral instrument in Semester Two, under the guidance of our instrumental music specialists Mr. Jim Millman, Ms. Wendy Ju and Ms. Alison Hocking, who is also the classroom teacher for this subject. The students have been making incredible progress and will be showing off their developing skills by providing musical entertainment at the Year 7 Breakfast concert on 14 November.

I enjoyed learning all the notes in flute Isabelle - The flute is a very interesting and fun instrument to play .

I enjoy learning notes and plucking the violin strings. I like playing the different song variation with my classmates.

I really enjoy playing the cello because it’s very technical but a fun instrument to learn. It is really loud compared to the smaller string instruments, but the sound is nice.

I enjoy learning the cello because I get to learn with my friends, I enjoy the sound of the open strings and I also enjoy exploring new notes.
