Big Band News

The VUSC Big Band were mentioned in Victorian State Parliament for their wonderful performance at the regional senior's week morning tea. Local Member Luba Grigorovitch spoke about wonderful our young musicians with regard to their musical talents and their manners and presentation. The students gave a stellar performance for the gathering which was attended by Ms Hazim, Government Ministers and Members, Local Mayors and other important members of our community. Well done Big Band students!

State Solo Competition

Junior Campus Music Captain Jordan Doidge represented the school at the Victorian Bands League, State Solo Championship recently. This is the first time that VUSC has had a student compete at this event. Jordan placed a fantastic 2nd in the U15 Trombone and 4th in the U15 Euphonium. Congratulations Jordan!
