Having reached the halfway point of the winter season, we can confidently reflect on the season so far as being successful.”. With 140 games already played across the three codes, factoring in the number of washouts and byes, St Patrick’s College has won around 60% of their games so far. This is a great platform to build on for the remainder of the season. Congratulations to all the boys and coaches on an excellent start to the season.
The boys in Junior School Justice Group have also been working hard this term. Please see the second instalment of their podcast. A must listen as they cover topics such as Belonging Day, the Feast Day of Blessed Edmund Rice, Laudato Si’ and Earth Day.
Junior School Justice - Podcast
Last week we had a small group of boys participate in the IPSHA Football trials, held at Turramurra. The trial is very competitive, with boys from around NSW coming together for their chance to represent IPSHA at the CIS trials. The day started with 110 boys trialling, and by the end of the day, only 12 boys would be chosen.

The skills on display were a sight to behold. As the day progressed, the numbers dwindled, however the boys from SPC were still in the mix.
At the final selection, there were three boys selected from St Patrick’s College (the most from any one school).
Congratulations to Orland, Aston and Levi on their selection into the IPSHA team. We wish you all the best for the upcoming CIS trials.
