Long Weekend Reminders
As we head into the long weekend, please take note of the following important sport updates:
There will be no training for all winter sports on Friday 5 June, Monday 8 June, and Tuesday 9 June. All training sessions will recommence on Wednesday 10 June.
There will be no Football training on Thursday 4 June due to the annual First XI vs St Patrick's College Old Boys Football fixture taking place that afternoon. Kick-off is at 3:30 PM on SPC 2. Students, parents, staff, and friends of the College are encouraged to attend and support what is always a great occasion.
There are no sporting fixtures scheduled this weekend.
We are looking forward to the return of competition on Saturday 13 June, with a large number of home fixtures scheduled across a range of sports. It would be fantastic to see as many students as possible supporting their teammates and helping create a strong SPC atmosphere around the grounds.
Additionally, the P&F is always seeking friendly volunteers to assist on game days. If you are able to donate some of your time and support for both SPC Sport and the P&F, please consider signing up via the link below:

A Message from the Head of Football
With most of our fixtures this round being away against Oakhill College, we knew it would be one of our strongest tests of the season. While a number of matches were unfortunately called off due to the heavy rainfall during the week, it was still an excellent round for the Football program.
Overall, we played 20 matches, finishing with 16 wins, one draw and three losses — a great effort by all teams involved.
Our First XI had a fantastic 2–1 win over Oakhill College, with both sides entering the fixture undefeated. Our Second XI was unlucky to go down 2–1. The 16As secured a strong 1–0 win, as did the 15As, also winning 1–0. Our 14As recorded an impressive 10–0 win over Chevalier College, while our 13A went down 2–0 in a hard-fought match.
There were also some excellent results across the wider program, with the Fourth XI defeating Chevalier College First XI 2–0, and the Fifth XI producing an outstanding 7–0 win over Oakhill Fourth XI.
A particularly pleasing result came from the 13D fixture at Oakhill, where the boys showed great resilience to come away with a 2–1 win.
Overall, it was a fantastic day for our Football Program and a pleasing reflection of the effort, commitment and progress being shown across all age groups.
