Year 5/6 made vase and flower arrangements out of paper. Guaranteed to stay gorgeous without watering!

My favourite part was designing the flowers with gel pens because we got to create any design that would resemble a flower.  We used tissue paper to colour the vase. - Paisley

We made vases by sticking tissue onto a piece of paper and then we cut it out into a vase shape.  After that we stapled it on the sides (not the bottom) and placed our stemmed flowers into the paper vase. - Jimmy

I learned that by using tissue paper that once it is stuck together and coated it with PVA watery glue, it ends up being quite stiff and 'unbreakable' so that it keeps its shape.  I have taken my vase and flowers home. - Oskar G
