Student Achievments

Celebrating Student Achievement

There’s always something to celebrate at WHSC! From academic achievements and sporting success to creative talents, leadership and personal accomplishments, we’re proud to recognise the wonderful achievements of our students. Take a moment to celebrate the dedication, effort and success of our students and see what they’ve been accomplishing across the College.

This week, we celebrate Andy Wang (11D), who proudly represented Wheelers Hill Secondary College at the Rotary Club’s 4-Way Speech Contest 2026, held at Lyndale Secondary College on 20 October.

Andy delivered his speech, ‘Before You Press Send’, with confidence, clarity and maturity. As the only male contestant among 12 participants, Andy represented our College exceptionally well and should be incredibly proud of his achievement.

Congratulations, Andy, on this wonderful accomplishment and for proudly representing WHSC!

Andy’s speech explores the power and responsibility of our words online. Using a simple restaurant review as an example, he challenges us to think before we post, question what we actually know, and make sure our words are fair, honest and helpful.

A powerful reminder that once we press send, our words can travel much further than we intended.
