ASPS Avengers Shine at National Futsal Championships

The ASPS Avengers, our 10yo boys futsal team, competed at the National School Championships in Brisbane during the school holidays, earning their invitation following tournament victories in Victoria in 2025/26.

The boys put in some outstanding performances against high-quality opposition from across Australia, winning five of their six group matches to finish second in their group.

Sadly, their tournament came to an end in the Round of 16, where they went down swinging in a tough 7–5 contest against a very strong ACT team that went on to win the national title.

A fantastic achievement for the boys to compete and represent ASPS and Vic City on the national stage. We were incredibly proud of their efforts, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Congratulations to Lachlan H, Dash R, George W, Josh J, Archer P and Hamish O, who made up the team.

Coach: Andrew Hinshelwood

Team Twinsanity: Basketball

Team Twinsanity, made up of Charlotte and Olivia D and Ariana and Lila P played in the State 3XCup State Championships over the holidays. Competing against 19 other teams, Twinsanity remained undefeated over 8 games, and won first place taking out the title of the 2026 U11 Girls 3XCup State Champions!

On to the 3XCup National Championships for Team Twinsanity!
