EASTER

What an eggcellent success! 🐣 Our Easter celebration at Roselea was truly something special this year.

A big thank you to Melissa Petersen, Nicole Hill and their amazing team of volunteers, including Chloe and Ava, former Roselea students, who worked so hard to make everything run smoothly on Thursday, 2nd April.

We are also incredibly grateful to our wonderful families for their generous donations and to the local businesses who supported us so enthusiastically. Thanks to your kindness, we were able to create even bigger hampers and introduce our brand new Golden Egg raffle!

In a time when many are feeling the pinch, it is genuinely heartwarming to see what our community can achieve when we come together for our kids. 💛

BENDIGO BANK GRANT 

We’re pleased to share that, with the guidance of Jak Heng and Melissa Petersen, the Roselea P&C has secured a $15,000 grant for new water bottle fillers as part of our Water Quality and Accessibility Project.

This competitive grant, awarded by Community Bank Epping – Bendigo Bank, will fund accessible refill stations across the school, supporting healthy hydration and reducing single-use plastic.

A big thank you to Community Bank Epping – Bendigo Bank for supporting our project! Our generous sponsor has given back more than $3,000,000 in grants to local organisations since 2003 and by choosing to bank with Community Bank Epping – Bendigo Bank, their profits can grow and be returned to the community through grants and sponsorships.

UPCOMING EVENTS

MOTHER’S DAY

The P&C and Hannah's Beecroft warmly invite students and their mums, along with other special women in their lives, to join us on Thursday 7 May for a complimentary breakfast treat and a warm beverage before heading off to work or starting the day. Don’t forget to RSVP via QKR to help us with catering. During the morning’s event, a small Mother’s Day stall will be set up - cash or card will be accepted. 

Head on over to QKR to pre-purchase a gift for your child to make for mum or other special women in their lives. Whilst there will only be time for them to make 1 gift on the day, students can purchase additional take home gifts for an extra treat for mum, or for other special women such as stepmums, aunts or grandmothers. 

To help make the magic happen, we’d love your support! We’re looking for wonderful volunteers who can spare some time on Thursday 7 May. Whether it’s an hour, a couple of hours, or the whole day, every bit of help makes a difference.

Exciting news Roselea families, the official Roselea P&C Chat 2026 is now live and ready for you to join! Following your feedback for a more secure and relevant space, this new moderated platform will focus on essential event reminders, community questions, and local updates, ensuring a supportive environment for all currently enrolled families. 

Please note that as we transition to this streamlined group, the current informal chat will be officially closed on Friday, 22 May 2026 (Week 5, Term 2). Uniform Shop

The Uniform Shop will be open on the following days in Term 2, 2026:

• Thursday 30 April 2:30pm-3:15pm
• Tuesday 19 May 8:30am - 9:15am

All Qkr! orders placed by 10pm on Tuesdays during the school term will be delivered to your child’s classroom by the end of the same week.

Issue 3 of Book Club has arrived, and it’s packed with exciting new reads to inspire a love of reading in every student!

💃 After School Dance Classes🕺🏻

Term 2 dance classes are now open!

I’m sure many of you still remember the amazing performance by our dancers at the whole-school assembly last term. Would you like to be one of them on stage next time? Come and join us! ❤️

✨ FREE TRIAL AVAILABLE — come along and give it a go! ✨

This year, we’re delighted to welcome a new qualified and experienced dance teacher, with classes running:

• K–2: Tuesdays, 3:00–4:10pm

• Years 3–6: Thursdays, 3:00–4:10pm

Classes will focus on Jazz and Ballet/Lyrical, with a performance at the end of term and a big festival later in the year ✨
