Mobile Phone Blitz
The Student Services team are focusing on mobile phones this term. At times I will be popping into classes to make sure they have left them in their room. Since our 'blitz' has started we haven't found one phone. Congratulations guys! Keep it up!
Social Media Ban
This week in Wellbeing classes we are covering the law the Government has made which says that anyone under 16 is not allowed to use social media. This ban will probably start on 10 December 2025.
Although this ban should not affect our current year 11s, the advice we are giving is SAVE all your photos and your contacts on your socials now, in case they accidentally close your account. More information attached.
P.A.R.T.Y. Program
Last Friday October 31 some Year 11 students attended the P.A.R.T.Y. (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth) excursion to Midland Hospital. This is a one-day injury awareness and prevention program. It is a vital component of the growing community effort to reduce death and injury in alcohol, drug and risk-related crashes and incidents. The final group of students will be going this Friday November 7.
