A massive congratulations to Endeavour College student, Josiah Dahlenburg, on winning the 2025 Geography Teachers Association of South Australia Photography Competition!

This year’s theme, “Weather Watchers,” inspired Josiah to capture a powerful image of a baby red wattlebird displaced from its gum tree home following a wild weather event. His photograph, accompanied by a thoughtful caption linking it to the theme, impressed the judges and earned him first place in the competition.

Josiah’s winning photograph, along with other shortlisted entries, is currently on display at the Burnside Civic Centre from 20 October to 12 December 2025.

Well done, Josiah. What an outstanding achievement and a wonderful recognition of your creativity, observation, and connection to the environment through photography.
