Caring Learning Growing: Every Child Every Day

Dear Families,

As always, the school has been filled with great learning and fun! I love taking the time to get out of my office and walk around the school, and how hard all the children and adults are working to ensure great learning. The children are always so proud to share what they are working on and love to keep me up to date with what is happening in their lives. You all have such great kids!

There has been some chatter around why it is taking so long to get PAM up and running. Just a reminder that PAM is linked to Simon, our operational system used in all Catholic schools. The attempted breach of the system has been taken extremely seriously. No elements of the system have been reinstated until it is safe to do so. Reinstating Simon within schools was needed first to ensure the schools could operate. It is hoped that PAM will be operational again next week; however, this process will require password updates. We will provide this information as soon as it is made available to us. The Simon Everywhere App will remain offline.

In relation to this and other school matters, I urge all families to come in and ask any questions you may have about the school. Often, chatter without the correct information can lead to misinformation. I will always be honest and open about why we do what we do.

The greatest thing about our school is that our children are always at the heart of everything we do.

I know so many of our children are ready to disco and dance later today. A reminder that the disco is a 5-for-$5.00 event. This will get them entry, a sausage in bread, a fruit box, water, popcorn and a Zooper Dooper as they leave to cool them all down after a whole lot of dancing. Please sign your children in as they arrive. We look forward to a fun night.

I know many of our children are playing basketball in Horsham this weekend, and we wish them all the best. We also hope all our kids who get out there after school and on weekends and participate in all those things that bring them joy have lots of fun. We love hearing about what you do.
