Dear Families,
Welcome back to Term 3. I hope you all enjoyed a restful and enjoyable break with family and friends.
Term 3 promises to be another exciting and busy term. Students will be involved in a range of wonderful learning opportunities and community events, including swimming, the Art Show, Grandparents Day, Foundation's 100 Days of School celebrations, and many other special activities throughout the term.
A strong school community is built through partnership and participation, and I encourage all families to become involved in the many events and opportunities available at SJV. Your support helps create a vibrant and connected community for our children.
I would also like to invite families to get on board and support the planning of our SJV Community Carnival in 2027. This will be a fantastic opportunity to bring our community together and create lasting memories for our students and families.
SJV Primary School Community Carnival Meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 4th at 7pm. A link will be sent out closer to the date.
We are looking for people who wish to help and have any new ideas to share. The Carnival will be held on April 17th in 2027.

Inform & Empower will be running a Cyber Safety Seminar for all parents and guardians on Wednesday 22nd July at 7:00–8:30pm in the Performing Arts area.
Connor's Run
Let's get behind this charity fundraiser as we have in past years. Connor's Run will be held
Sunday 13th September to raise funds for paediatric brain cancer.

Grandparents Day – You're Invited!
Dear Grandparents and Special Friends,
We warmly invite you to join us for our annual Grandparents Day Celebration on Friday, 24 July.
Foundation 100 days of School Celebration
On Wednesday 22nd July, our Foundation students will celebrate their 100 Days of School with a special liturgy at 9:15am.
Students are invited to dress up for the occasion. You should have already received information from your child's Foundation teacher regarding the dress-up theme and celebration activities.
All Foundation families are warmly invited to attend the liturgy and join us as we celebrate this exciting milestone in our students' learning journey.
