Sacrament of Confirmation: Saturday 8 August at 1pm.
Families of children preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation,
Please note that Fr Andrzej's visit to meet all enrolled Confirmation candidates will be happening on:
Wednesday 29th July 2026 at 10:30am
Parents, we encourage you to please support your children in working through the Sacramental preparation book starting on page 5 and continue through Week's 1 and 2: Our Baptismal Call and Promises. There are Parent's Diary sections for you to complete also. The aim is to have the book completed by the time the Confirmation workshop is held on the 1st August at 11am.
At the workshop, the books will be reviewed by Fr and the Sacramental team and all children and parents will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive clarification on any thing that they need. The completion of this book is an integral part of your family's preparation for your children to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, so please do make the time to go through the pages.
In the meantime, we look forward to seeing you and your children at weekend Mass here at St John Vianney's Parish as you continue your preparation as a family.
Sacrament of Confirmation Preparation
Families of children preparing for this sacrament, your child would have received their Sacramental Preparation book through school last week. Thank you for completing their Rite of Acceptance card and bringing them along to last weekend's Mass where they received a copy of the Apostle's Creed.
Parents, please support your children in commencing the book starting on page 5 and continue through Week 1: Our Baptismal Call. There is a Parent's Diary section for parents/guardians to complete also.

You must attend one of the information sessions where an enrolment form will be given and other dates advised.
