Uraidla & Summertown Show — Volunteers Needed
The Uraidla & Summertown Show is coming up fast — Sunday, 2 November 2025 — and we’re calling on our wonderful community to help make it another fantastic success!
Our show simply wouldn’t happen without the generous time and energy of volunteers who lend a hand before, during, and after the big day. Whether you can spare an hour or a full day, every bit of help makes a difference. Thank you to everyone who has already signed up.
Pre-Show Roles (from 20 October)
- Set-up and grounds preparation
- Office support
- General site readiness
Show Day Roles (Sunday, 2 November)
- Gate entry support
- Assisting with parking
- General support to the committee
- Manning the show office
- Assisting with waste management and keeping the grounds tidy
Post-Show Roles (Monday, 3 November)
- Pack-down, grounds clean-up, and returning everything to normal

History book for sale
Have you seen the Uraidla book written by local historian Geoffrey Bishop on behalf of the East Torrens Historical Society? It tells the story of the Uraidla township, from the beginning to current day and is a fascinating read!
Books are $35 and there are copies for sale at the Front Office.
