Year 8 Update

A Focus on Growth 

There was a wonderful community spirit and participation at the Swimming Sports. It was wonderful to see the high level of participation from the Year 8 students. A great day of camaraderie. 

Last week, the two Parliamentarians for Year 8 2024 were announced.

Both students were well congratulated by their peers, and I know that they will be excellent Year 8 representatives.  

Last week, Year 8 students focused on growth and began their Growth Mindset Booklet.

We examined the difference between a fixed and growth mindset and how we can work towards having a growth mindset. The cohort set individual goals that they would like to achieve throughout this year. Our Wellbeing program will allow the students to examine this theme continuing forward and focus on their self growth.
