We have had a change of library day and from now on all students will be borrowing on a TUESDAY.
Every student will come to the library on a TUESDAY with their class to borrow.
Please encourage your child to bring their own, labelled, library bag, and to return books weekly which will ensure they do not miss out on borrowing.
Don’t forget, the library is open every lunchtime throughout the week and children are able to return and borrow every 2nd half lunch also.
A reminder also for students to continue to complete the PRC list.
Author Visit
We will be hosting an author visit this term.
On Wednesday, 28th May (T2, W5) Solli Raphael will be coming to Roselea to speak to our children. Solli is a powerful presenter with his work resonating with many.
In his own words, slam poet and social advocate, Solli Raphael shines a spotlight on the concerns children face today, exploring the powerful link between writing and shaping the future. His collections of poetry illuminates the social interests of Solli's generation in a thought-provoking style, including a mix of traditional poems and performance poems. It covers topics from connection to bullying and pinpoints climate change as a key concern with poems like Solli's Greenpeace collaboration piece 'Let's Make More Minutes Count!'. Words have the power to empower others.
All students will have the opportunity to attend this event.
Solli will speak to K-2, Stage 2 (3-4) and Stage 3 (5-6).
Happy Reading!
