Celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation

Over the past three evenings, our Grade 5/6 students have had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. It has been a very special time for our school and parish community as we gathered to witness our students take this important step in their faith journey.

It was a joy to see our Confirmation candidates participate so reverently and enthusiastically in each celebration. Their preparation, commitment and understanding of the Sacrament were evident, and we are incredibly proud of each of them.

A special thank you to our dedicated Grade 5/6 teachers, who have worked so hard to prepare the children for this important Sacrament. Their guidance, encouragement and support have helped our students develop a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit and the gifts they have received.

We also sincerely thank our families for their wonderful support throughout the Confirmation journey. Your encouragement, participation and presence at the celebrations have helped make these occasions so meaningful for our students.

As our newly Confirmed students continue their faith journey, we pray that the Holy Spirit will remain close to each of them, giving them courage, wisdom, strength and compassion.

May the Holy Spirit guide, strengthen and inspire our Confirmation candidates as they continue to grow in faith and live as witnesses to God’s love.
