Gardening News 

Gardening with Grade 5 and 6 buddies has occurred twice this term. Students made bay leaf wreaths and also learned about Frog Life Cycles from Grade 5 student, Eddie Jess. Eddie introduced 3 of his tadpoles to our garden pond. This example of peer teaching was a popular experience for our students and we appreciate Eddie sharing his expertise.

Summer seeds have been sown in readiness for the change of season and the school fair. Weeding has been a popular activity, contributing to a circular system where the chickens benefit from the harvested garden waste.
