Message from our
Campus Principal

As we edge closer to the end of another school year, the campus has been buzzing with activity. The final weeks always bring a mix of celebrations, learning opportunities and community events and this year is no exception. With this week being our last week of 2025 classes, teachers are using this time to wrap up learning tasks and provide students with meaningful feedback as they finish off their work.
On Monday, the 1st of December, we begin our HeadStart Program, where students move into their 2026 classes and meet their teachers. This transition period sets the tone for the year ahead, supported by a new Team Leader and the updated year-level support structure.
Last Wednesday, our entire campus came together for a brilliant Colour Run around Lake Hyland to mark the final day with our current Year 10 cohort. The atmosphere was great with colour everywhere, smiling faces, and a real sense of enjoyment. A huge thank you to our SRC and to Jane Webster for driving the organisation of this event. It was a fantastic success and a highlight of the term.

On Tuesday evening, our Year 10 students celebrated the end of their junior-campus journey at their Formal held at the Morwell Club. Students looked very grown up, the venue sparkled, and the night included awards, a shared meal and plenty of dancing and laughs. A massive thank you to Todd Miller, the Year 10 teaching team and all support staff who helped plan, set up and run such an impressive event. It was the perfect send-off before students transition to the University Campus for Year 11.
This week has been dedicated to Feedback & Skills Week, along with Awards Ceremonies for our Year 7, 8 and 9 cohorts. Each year level held an assembly recognising individual achievement across a range of areas, while also reflecting on the year that’s been. It was wonderful to see so many families joining us to celebrate the efforts and successes of our students throughout 2025.
More photos and announcements regarding awards ceremonies and recipients will be provided in the College section of the newsletter.
Students move into their 2026 classes and follow their new timetable.
