FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION

Today we celebrated the Feast of the Assumption, with a whole school Mass.  This Feast Day is a major feast in the Catholic Church and a Holy Day of Obligation that honors the belief that the Virgin Mary was taken body and soul into Heaven at the end of her earthly life.
