Prep/1	Alexis	Perseverance	Alexis always enters the classroom each morning with a big smile and a hello! This term Alexis has brought a new level of perseverance to her learning each day. She consistently tries her hardest at being focused and loves exploring new leanings, especially in literacy. Alexis can blend her sounds together to build words and loves practising her handwriting. Her perseverance is really shining through as she continues to try her best each day! You're on fire Alexis, keep up the amazing work!!!
Grade 2	Mark	Independence	While only having been at St Mary's for 1 week, he has settled into the year 2 routines excellently. Mark is eager to share his learning and contribute to class discussions and has enjoyed sharing his knowledge from around the world. Welcome to St. Mary’s Mark! We’re very happy you are here!
3/4 A	Marian	Perseverance	For not giving up when she finds a task challenging. Marian has a go at different learning activities and persists to complete them to the best of her ability, such as her information report on Cherry Blossom Trees. Marian asks questions when she is unsure about something. Well done Marian!
3/4 B	Giselle Bianchi	Perseverance	For not giving up when learning new strategies in Maths! Giselle, I really liked the way you didn’t give up and how you were determined when learning about short division. I know you were in the learning pit but you approached the learning with focus, resilience and a positive mindset. You can do anything you put your mind to! You’re doing extremely well in Grade 3 and I hope you’re as proud of yourself as I am of you!
5/6 A	Paige Ralston	Collaboration	Paige displays this disposition by working well with all her classmates. She is polite, listens well and respectfully engages in group discussions. Paige is always willing to help others and is quick to notice when people are upset or need some help with a task. We are lucky to have you in 5-6A!
5/6 B	Emily Donald	Reflection	For helping others in times of need. Emily, you are always checking in with your teacher to see if any help is required and are often the first person to offer assistance if a task needs completing. This kindness and generosity has not gone unnoticed!

Prep/1	Jacob Hadchiti	Independence	Jacob has started term 2 with a bang. From day one he has been eager to get started on his learning, contribute to class conversations and have a go in all learning areas. Jacob works hard to complete tasks in the given time. Jacob is consistently supporting his peers and offering support where necessary, and always ready to celebrate his peers when there is new learning achieved. Jacob has been so focused on his handwriting and the hard work is really paying off. When Jacob puts his mind to something, he doesn't stop until it is achieved! Way to go Jacob!
Grade 2	Camilla Connell	Independence	While only having been at St Mary's for 2 weeks, she has settled into the year 2 routines beautifully. Camilla is eager to share her learning and contribute to class discussions and is always looking for ways to improve her learning.
3/4 A	Lewi Hadchiti	Curiosity	For being actively involved in our excursion to the Melbourne Museum. Lewi had a go at answering a variety of questions and listened attentively to what was being explained. He was engaged in a range of activities, eager to learn more and develop his understanding. Well done Lewi!
3/4 B	Henry Jenkins	Independence	For working diligently during class time. Henry, you approach tasks with confidence which makes you a great role model for others. You are a self motivated learner who can be trusted to work by yourself to complete work in the time allotted. I admire your discipline and intelligence and hope you continue to share your wisdom with 3/4B! Keep up the impressive work.
5/6 A	Beau Threader	Perseverance	For displays this disposition by staying on task and trying different ways to achieve a positive outcome. Beau continues with a task even when he finds it challenging. He asks questions to help him in these situations and relies on peers and/or an adult for support. Well Done Beau!!
