From the Principal...
Newsletter August 15, 2025
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for the beautiful cards and kind wishes I received for Principalâs Day. Your thoughtfulness and generosity truly touched me, and I feel incredibly blessed to be part of such a caring and supportive community.
Â
The cards I received from each class and the children's words of appreciation serve as a powerful reminder of what makes St Maryâs so special. It is a privilege to serve as your Principal, and Iâm grateful every day for the opportunity to work alongside such dedicated staff, students, and families.
Â
Thank you again for making Principalâs Day so meaningful. Your support means more than words can express.
Our Prep/One students lit up the school this week as they celebrated Prep's 100 Days of School with the colourful and joyful theme â100 Days of Brightnessâ!Â
Â
Dressed in their brightest and most vibrant outfits, the children brought energy, excitement, and plenty of sparkle to mark this special milestone. From neon shirts to dazzling accessories and rainbow-themed costumes, our Preps and grade 1s looked absolutely amazing â and we owe a huge thank you to our wonderful parents for their creativity and support in helping bring the theme to life!Â
Â
This celebration was not just about numbers, but also about recognising the friendships formed, the confidence built, and the joy of learning that continues to shine brightly in each of our students.Â
Â
Congratulations to our amazing Prep students â we are so proud of everything youâve achieved in your first 100 days!

A gentle reminder to please ensure your child arrives at school on time each day. If your child arrives after the school gates have closed, they must be signed in at the school office by a parent or carer.
Â
The beginning of the day is important, as it helps set the tone and schedule for learning. Being on time allows your child to start the day calmly, hear important information, and feel settled and ready to learn.
Â
Thank you for your support in helping all students get the best start to their day!
