and out and about!
It’s awesome to be BACK!!! Creativity is flowing in the ART ROOM already! The energy is great and students are deeply engaged in their learning. Over the first few lessons Years 3,4,5 and 6 are learning about artist Jim Dine and his heart creations. Junior classes have created fabulous student voice posters! Bella, Mrs Hamilton and Ms O’Neill can’t wait to see what our students create this term!

Lego and Colouring Club will commence on Thursday 19 February (Week 4) in the library.
Students are welcome to join every Tuesday and Thursday during second play, where they can enjoy Lego or colouring activities with Ms Parkes.

Our Prep students have been busy learning important skills to stay safe while playing. This week, the children explored our playground, discovering safe ways to use the equipment, take turns, and look out for one another.
These lessons form an important part of our school’s commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for all students. The Preps are now more confident in navigating the playground, making sure everyone can have fun safely.

What a fantastic turnout we had for our Foundation BBQ. It was wonderful to see so many families come along, meet one another and enjoy the evening together.
A big thank you to Kings Swim for their generous contribution. We hope our newest students love their new swimming bags, thoughtfully labelled individually for each child.
We also extend our thanks to TheirCare for supplying the sausages, bread and drinks. Proceeds from the drink and Zooper Dooper sales will go directly back into the school to support equipment and resources for our students.
Thank you to Lazers Basketball for speaking with families about the fantastic opportunities available in our local community basketball program.
We are very grateful to Claire B, Hailey P and Mel S for their organisation and logistics on the night, including freezing and transporting the icy poles. Thank you also to Caitlin, our new Community Liaison/Librarian – your hard work does not go unnoticed. A special thanks to Mrs Dooley for managing the financial side of the event, and to our specialist teachers who stood behind the BBQ cooking sausages throughout the evening.
It was a fantastic night where students and parents mingled, connected and began building strong relationships within our school community.
