4K Class Report - Puppetry and Creative Expression

4K students have been diving into the exciting Drama lessons this term, discovering how to entertain and engage audiences. Through the creation and performance of puppetry, they are exploring the key elements of drama to bring stories and ideas to life on stage. 

I’ve been so impressed by the creativity and curiosity students have shown. It’s been great to see them mix different art forms and bring their ideas to life. We have even more exciting projects coming up in Creative Arts!

Year 1 Centennial Parklands Excursion

On Friday 14th August, Year 1 visited Centennial Parklands for a Science excursion. First, we went on the bus, and it was a very long drive. Next, we explored the park and learned about different animal habitats. We saw flying foxes, possums and tawny frogmouths. Then, we used nets to catch some insects in the pond. After that, we had lunch and played in the park. Lastly, we went back on the bus to school. It was an extremely fun time at Centennial Parklands. Everyone loved it!
