The Sugar Warrior- Type 1 Diabetes Awareness and Fundraising

On Saturday, 19th September Oskar in grade 1 will be running in the Geelong Running Festival to raise money that goes directly to the Type 1 Foundation that was founded right here in Geelong and recognised all over Australia. 

The Type 1 Foundation helps so many families across the country and when Oskar was newly diagnosed, he received an amazing care package with lots of goodies to support his journey. 

Oskar would like to show his appreciation and raise money to help other families and children like himself to keep these care packages going. 

Guess the Jelly Bean competition!

Oskar and his sister Emilia are holding a ‘Guess the Jelly Bean’ competition at school beginning on Monday 7th September. Guesses are $1 each and the closest guess will win the jar of jelly beans! All proceeds will go to the Type 1 Foundation. Emilia will run the guessing competition on the deck area from 1:40pm (start of lunch) every day next week. The winner will be announced at assembly on Friday September 11.
