STUDENT ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES
Lunch time activites offer many alternative for the students to participate in.

PARENTS & FRIENDS
Pie orders arrive this Thursday at 3.15pm from the canteen, don't forget to collect them.
LITTLE ANGLERS KITS
The Victorian Government is handing out 82,500 free Little Anglers Kits to Grade 5 students. The kits include a fishing rod, a reel with line and a tackle box. The kits are funded by recreational fishing licence fees and you can use the Victorian Fisheries Authority website to find local places to fish. Students will come home with them this week.

PARENT/STUDENT/TEACHER INTERVIEWS
Parent-Teacher Interview bookings will close on Friday at 3.15pm. If there is not a time available to suit you please contact the school to make alternative arrangements.
BOOK WEEK
On Monday, 24th August, we are celebrating Book Week with a combined 'Dress as Your Favourite Book Character' and 'Grandparent's (special person's)' Day. The plan is to begin the day at 9am with a parade, shared reading time with grandparents and/or special persons, following with a shared morning tea at around 10am. The finer details of the morning will be confirmed closer to the day.
Junior School Council is organising the day and they would like all families to bring along a plate of food to share for morning tea.
P & F - FATHER'S DAY STALL
Donations are now being accepted for our annual stall. Items can be left in the baskets in the foyer at school.

INDUSTRIAL ACTION
There is a possibility that there will be a Strike on Wednesday 19th August, we will keep you updated as more information comes to hand. The Department has advised if families would like more information on this they can access it on the following link.
