Last Tuesday our beautiful Prep students came to school all comfy and cosy in their PJs, ready to pray together. Even Fr Michael brought his squishy to Mass! With the support of their families, the students celebrated Mass together before heading back to their classrooms to share some prayer activities with their grown-ups.

The students participated in many forms of prayer:- singing, praising, completing artwork and reciting formal prayers. It was heartwarming to see so many families praying together.
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Prep teachers and LSOs who prepared the students for Mass and explored the many facets of prayer in their RE Lessons.

Next Tuesday, our Year 6 students will be celebrating their Confirmation Journey Mass as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2 weeks time. Fr Madry, the Episcopal Vicar, came and spoke to the candidates reminding them that when they are "sealed with the Holy Spirit" they are asked to go out into the world and use the gifts and fruits the Spirit has given them to make a difference in the world.
Families are welcome to join our Year 6 students at Mass on Tuesday at 9.15am.

Our Yr 2 students will be celebrating their Class Mass on Thursday 30th July. Students have explored Matthew's Gospel where Jesus uses a story about fishing to help us understand something important about how we live our lives. They know that Jesus wants us to make good choices and treat others with love, so we can be the best people we can be. This means we need to - Share with others, use kind words, help people when they need it and make good choices, even when it’s hard.
Families are welcome to join our Yr 2 students at Mass next Thursday.
