Senior Camp Week

This week, our Senior students took part in a full week of camp experiences. On Monday the students visited URBNSURF at Melbourne Airport and participated in learning to surf lessons. On Tuesday they visited Gravity Zone in Seaford where they engaged in a variety of physical activities such as trampolining, enhancing general fitness, motor skills, developing confidence, building interpersonal skills by working as a team, brainstorming, listening, taking turns and communicating. Thanks to Miss Privitelli and Mr O'Shea for accompanying the Senior students during these first two days of activities.

On Wednesday morning, they headed to Lady Northcote in Glenmore. They spent two nights and three days participating in a variety of exciting and fun activities, including: Radio Rogaine, Canoeing, Archery, the Giant Swing and Flying Fox. Thanks to Miss Privitelli, Mrs Gerecke and Mr Weekes for taking time out of their lives to look after our Year 5 & 6 children so well, during their time away on Camp.

Year 4 Camp

Next Monday, our Year 4 students will be attending Bayview Adventure Camp in Grantville until Wednesday 27 May. The students will enjoy many fun activities including the Giant Swing, Bike Riding, Canoeing, High Ropes and Animal Farm (where they met all types of characters - ponies, pigs, goats and sheep amongst the furry gang). All children will challenge themselves in different ways, giving new things a go, stepping out of their comfort zone, into the great unknown. A BIG thank you to all our staff members who will attend our Year 4 Camp with our children, Miss Olney, Mrs De Iuliis, Mr O'Shea and Mr Weekes.  It will be a brilliant 3 days away together at Year 4 Camp!

2026 School Closure Days

As was communicated to families last year...

* Time in Lieu (TIL)

The current Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (the Agreement) has a formal time in lieu (TIL) process for teachers. The Agreement provides that a principal may require a teacher to undertake work and attend a school activity outside the normal hours of attendance (i.e., in excess of the 38 hours or normal hours for a part-time teacher) and when this occurs, it will attract TIL.

Principals should prepare for the accrual and acquittal of TIL through their annual planning process. The timing of the acquittal of TIL is at the discretion of the principal, having regard to the operational needs of the school and causing the least disruption to the educational program of the school.

Principals may elect to acquit TIL through designating days during the year on which all staff and students are not required to attend school.
