We’re pleased to share how well our library lunchtime activities have been progressing this year. Our Student Ambassadors have dedicated a significant amount of time and effort to organising games and setting up engaging activities for students. They have also created helpful video guides demonstrating how to correctly set up and pack away the equipment, ensuring the space remains organised and accessible for everyone.

The library is open to students during lunchtime on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The Library aims to offer students more choice during lunchtime, particularly for those who may prefer quieter, non-physical activities. It reflects our commitment to student voice and wellbeing by creating a more balanced range of options.

On these days, students are encouraged to make the most of the library space. The library provides a calm and supportive setting where students can discover new books, use a variety of equipment, draw, play board or card games, or simply enjoy some quiet time.

Student Ambassadors

Our Student Ambassadors have made a fantastic start, with a highly productive and positive first meeting. Students approached the session with focus and enthusiasm, setting a strong tone for the term ahead.

During the meeting, ambassadors were introduced to their roles and responsibilities and were given a small piece of homework to help them begin thinking about their contributions. They also had the opportunity to nominate for a range of leadership roles, showing initiative and a willingness to be actively involved in shaping upcoming projects and activities.

Overall, the session ran smoothly and reflected the students’ commitment to making meaningful impact within the school. They are excited and ready to get stuck into the term, and we look forward to seeing all that they will achieve.
