Interschool Sport

Darebin Division 

It has been a very busy and productive second half of Term 2 for interschool sport.

Years 7-10 have had event days for Netball, Soccer, Badminton and Football.

There has been huge participation levels at each age group, which is a credit to all the students involved.

Congratulations to the teams that won their respective event days and have progressed through to North Metro Region finals in Term 3. The winning teams include: Y8 Girls Soccer, Y8 Boys Soccer, Y8 Boys Netball, Y7 Girls Soccer.

The Darebin Division sports on offer for the students in Term 3 include Basketball, Table Tennis and Hockey.

North Metro Region 

NMR Cross Country was held on June 18 at Kilmore Racing Club. We had 20 students competing, producing outstanding results. 

The following students finished top 12 in their race and qualified for State Cross County:

Michaela Belles (Y8) 2nd place, Julian Pollard (Y11) 6th place, Evan Kondys (Y9) 9th place, Serge Lynch (Y8) 9th place.

Special mention to the Girls 14 age group that finished 3rd as a team. The team was: Michaela Belles, Lynn Kodsi & Lily Welch.
