Mentor Pastoral - Caritas Fair
Throughout Term 1, students in 7-10 have been learning about the works of Caritas - an aid agency of the Australian Catholic Church. Being the liturgical season of Lent, there has been a particular focus on the Caritas Lenten campaign - Project Compassion.
Furthermore, students aligned the operations of Caritas Australia with the Catholic Principle of The Common Good - creating a world where we think about what is good for EVERYONE, not just ourselves.
In addition to building our understanding of the aim of Project Compassion, students have collaborated throughout the term to create their own PAC fundraising stall - coming together on Wednesday of Week 10 to facilitate the CARITAS FAIR. Leading up to this, Mentor Pastoral sessions were certainly a hive of activity as students and pastoral teachers worked hard to get their stalls ready.
