🌿 SAKG Garden & Kitchen Update 🌿

The students are excited to begin cooking from our new seasonal menu using fresh produce grown in our garden! Upcoming recipes include:

• Spanakopita (Spinach & Cheese Pastry Triangles)• Chocolate Zucchini Muffins• Carrot & Zucchini Croquettes• Cucumber, Feta, Mint & Dill Salad• Zucchini Bread

All dishes proudly feature ingredients harvested from our SAKG garden.

🎨 Garden Art Donations Needed 

We are planning new garden art projects and are seeking donations of usable exterior paint in bright colours and white. Please ensure paint is suitable for outdoor use and not thick or dried out.

🥕 Produce Donations Welcome 

If you have excess produce from your garden, we would love to use it in our kitchen programs. We are especially hoping for lemon donations so students can make lemon curd and cordial.

🥡 Container Donations 

We are also collecting clean, used takeaway containers. These can be dropped off at the SAKG café or the school office.

💚 Thank You Volunteers 

A big thank you to all our new and returning volunteers who support the garden and kitchen. Your involvement helps make our program such a wonderful community space.
