🌿 SAKG Garden & Kitchen Update 🌿
The students are excited to begin cooking from our new seasonal menu using fresh produce grown in our garden! Upcoming recipes include:
• Spanakopita (Spinach & Cheese Pastry Triangles)• Chocolate Zucchini Muffins• Carrot & Zucchini Croquettes• Cucumber, Feta, Mint & Dill Salad• Zucchini Bread
All dishes proudly feature ingredients harvested from our SAKG garden.
🎨 Garden Art Donations NeededÂ
We are planning new garden art projects and are seeking donations of usable exterior paint in bright colours and white. Please ensure paint is suitable for outdoor use and not thick or dried out.
🥕 Produce Donations WelcomeÂ
If you have excess produce from your garden, we would love to use it in our kitchen programs. We are especially hoping for lemon donations so students can make lemon curd and cordial.
🥡 Container DonationsÂ
We are also collecting clean, used takeaway containers. These can be dropped off at the SAKG café or the school office.
