School Council

School Council comprises of DET employees, parent members and coopted community members.

• DET employees include Monique Corcoran, Jodi Price, Sheree Bretel and Paula Fleming
• Parent members include Aden Hogan (President), Emma Thompson (Vice President), Adele Chen (Treasurer), Jodie Hewson, Aftab Hussain and Jessica Rabba
• Community members include Geraldine Oborne and Leanne McDonald

School Council met Tuesday 12th August at 6.30pm.  Discussion points of note include:

• Endorsement of TWO 2026 Pupil Free Days - 27th and 28th January
• Student Attendance data presentation and analysis
• Learning and Wellbeing Report presentation inc NAPLAN vs Teacher Judgement data analysis
• Facilities report inc Greener School Grant (solar panelling) update and upgrade of ramps and stairs

LPS received the outcome of the recent VRQA School Review (Term 2).

I am pleased to confirm that Lyndhurst Primary School is compliant with the Minimum Standards forSchool Registration (including the Child Safe Standards) that we assess. 

I’d like to thank you, Rebecca Graham, and all the staff at Lyndhurst Primary School for your hard work, andassistance during the compliance assessment, it’s been an absolute pleasure working with you.

As previously mentioned, your school had an exemplary level of pre-assessment compliance. This is a fantastic testament to the hard work you have put in implementing the Child Safe Standards.
