Principal’s Report

PAM Issues

We wish to advise that unfortunately PAM is still unavailable for parents and carers.

The software provider is working to restore access, and we will notify families as soon as the system is back online.

Activity Permissions

In regard to activity permissions, consent will need to be provided by a hard copy permission form which has been printed for each student as required. Thank you to those who have already returned their forms if needed.

Once signed, the form just needs to be returned to the front office. The office will then record the consent in PAM on your behalf.

Absences

If you need to notify us of a student absence, please contact our office directly – 5443 4071 - or email office@skbendigo.catholic.edu.au

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this interruption.

We are hopeful of a resolution sooner rather than later.

P-2 Tabloid Sports

On Friday 21st November the students in Grades P-2 will participate in a Tabloid Sports morning. Details have been sent home with each student.

The students are welcome to wear their House Colours for the day. They are very excited and have been doing lots of practice during their sports sessions.

St Kilian’s School Christmas Fair

The Parents and Friends are hosting an event, the St Kilian’s School Christmas Party on Saturday 22nd November (10 am- 2 pm). Fun for the whole family $10 entry per family. We are looking for enthusiastic members of our school community to give us just 30 minutes of time to man one of our stalls or assist with fun Christmas-themed activities. Meet other families and help build strong community connections.

St Kilian’s School Christmas Concert

St Kilian's is proud to present our Christmas Concert on Thursday 27th November. This wonderful event will be at The Shed (St Francis of the Fields PS, Strathfieldsaye). All families are warmly invited. All classes will perform a song, ending with a big showcase! The first performance will begin at 6:30 pm, students and families arrive from 6 pm.

Pupil Free Day

Please note Friday 28th November, will be a Pupil free day for Report Writing.

Transition & Orientation 2026 Foundation

Our next session will be held on Tuesday 25 November. During these sessions, we warmly invite parents and carers to join us in the school library for a coffee and chat.

Our Orientation Day will be held on Tuesday 9 December, when we’ll host a more formal information session for parents in the school hall.

2026 Students

Planning for the 2026 school year has begun. To assist with this process, if you know your child (in Grade Prep to 5) will be leaving St Kilian’s School at the end of the year, except the graduating Grade 6 class, could you please inform me via email or a letter of your intentions as soon as possible. By doing this, it will assist in organising staffing and class numbers for the 2026 school year. I thank you for your assistance, in advance, for the parents who this applies
