Last Friday, four teams from years 3 - 6 travelled to Tamworth to compete at the ACS Touch Football Gala day. Our students were super sporty, learnt plenty and showed off their fantastic touch football skills. Throughout the day we saw some brilliant teamwork to get the ball over the line, great school spirit and excellent sportsmanship showing great respect to the referees, teammates and other school students. Everyone improved their passing, running lines and defending with every game they played.  All teams played their hearts out, with one narrowly missing out on the finals.

A HUGE thank you to Mrs Wilson, Mrs Harris, Ms McArdle, Mrs Whyte and Trent Hartwig for managing and coaching the teams on the day. 

Our swimming program is in full swing, and so far, it's going swimmingly!

During the first week, children were assessed on their ability and grouped accordingly. 

Depending on the level of the group, the lessons consist of activities to build:

- water confidence 

- stroke correction

- water safety

- fitness/stamina and

- survival skills

Thank you parents and carers for ensuring your children have their swimming gear ready to go each Wednesday and Friday, it helps the day run smoothly.
