We are proud to report continued growth in membership, providing an encouraging sign that more Principal Class Officers are recognising the importance of a strong, united voice for our profession.

At a time when the demands on school leaders are greater than ever, collective advocacy has never been more important. The APF is the only organisation solely dedicated to the interests and wellbeing of Principal Class employees. Our purpose is clear: to protect and promote the professional, industrial, and ethical standing of school leaders across the state.

Every conversation we have with government, the Department, media, and peak bodies is shaped by what we hear from our members. That’s why we’re asking all members to continue:

  • Spreading the word about the APF to colleagues in leadership
  • Encouraging others to join, especially those stepping into acting or new Principal Class roles
  • Staying engaged with updates, forums, and campaigns
  • Sharing insights from your school context to inform our advocacy

When we grow our collective voice, we strengthen our ability to advocate for a system that recognises and respects the unique yet pivotal role of school leaders.

EBA UPDATE

Please see the EBA Update page for more information about the next steps for the EBA. It is likely that in the next 1-2 weeks the department will provide further information to Principals to allow you to prepare for the ballot at the beginning of next term. Start planning your meeting schedule accordingly!
