Māori-Pasifika Recess Club

This term, our Māori Pasifika group has been enjoying learning about Te Reo Māori and Māori culture through song, movement and dance. Students have been learning the Māori alphabet, colours and parts of the body, with songs and actions helping them remember new words while making learning fun and interactive.

Students have been highly engaged and enthusiastic, confidently joining in with songs, practising their pronunciation and supporting one another as they learn a new language. It has been wonderful to see students’ confidence grow as they explore Te Reo Māori through music, movement and cultural learning. 

We look forward to continuing this exciting learning throughout the term!
