Warm and Sunny Weather

This week has been spring like with the temperatures and sunshine. As a SunSmart school, in Terms 1 and 4, everyone is expected to wear a brimmed hat when they are outside. Students can choose to wear the school bucket hat, or one of their own, as long as it has a brim all the way around, and any logos are school appropriate. We have certainly seen some fantastic sombreros over the years!

End Term 3 Progress Reports

The last cycle of Progress Reports for this term will be made available next week (Week 8) via Compass, on Friday the 4th of September at about 4pm. These reports help to monitor student learning habits in class. All students should be able to achieve a level of 3, working at the expected level. In these End of Term Progress Reports, a fifth behaviour is assessed, being Home Study Habits, assessing habits relating to homework being completed and submitted on time.

Term 3 Conferences

Formerly known as Parent Teacher Interviews

Backing on from our Progress Reports, our Term 3 Conferences will be held on Tuesday 15th September, the last Tuesday of term from 4 – 7pm. Bookings for the interviews will be open in Compass closer to the time.

Parent/Caregiver Opinion Survey (PCOS)

This survey is open until Friday 18th September. 

Families received a notice through Compass Newsfeed with the survey link and login details on Monday 17th August. 

Currently out of our 108 families, there have been 11 responses, or a 10% response rate so it would be great to see some more families completing this survey.
