Colour Fun Run - Two Weeks to Go!

We are about halfway through our Colour Fun Run campaign, and we’ve raised $16k so far - more than halfway to our target of $25k. Thank you to all who have generously donated. 

To help mark the halfway milestone, a mystery teacher has agreed to an ice bucket being poured on them tomorrow! We will draw two names from the top 10 fundraisers who will get to pour the bucket.

If you reach our target of $25k raised, Ms Alison has agreed to be slimed on the day!! Thank you to the fundraising leaders: Lilly-Jean B (1D), Romaeo A (2JC), Mia S (1D). Congratulations to the Year 1 students who enjoyed an icy pole treat last week for being the year-level with the most number of profiles created. 

Your child will have come home with a wristband this week. Make sure you go to your profile and enter the code for their chance to win $500 towards their reward prize. If you haven’t made a profile yet, now is a good time to do so! 

Any child who has raised money, no matter the amount, by tomorrow (Friday, 24 October) will receive 20 house points!

Donut Day - Orders Close Today 

As part of promoting student voice at St John's, the SRC students have voted for a Donut Day to be held. In response to their request the PIC is organising a Donut Day for next Wednesday, 29 October. Gluten free options are available. Orders will close tonight at 8pm. 

Please make sure you write your child’s name and class in the notes section of the payment page so we know where to deliver the donuts.

Christmas Carols & Market 

This year, the PIC is hoping to make the Christmas Carols (2 December) even more festive and fun, including incorporating a Christmas Market. 

We would love to hear from you if you or your children are budding jewellery makers, bakers, sewers or have another stall idea that would be suitable. There will be a small $10 fee for stallholders. If you are interested, please send a note to the PIC with details of what you will be selling. picstjohnsheidelberg@gmail.com

Parents’ Night Wrap Up 

What a fun night for the parents! A huge thank you to the organisers, Melissa B, Margi, Genevieve H. and Sara F, for their months of hard work preparing this night. We raised more than $4,500 for the school from this event and the associated raffles and silent auction. Thank you to everyone for your support. 

Thank you also to the school community for offering their generous sponsorship and donations including Stephen Grech for security for the night and Jonathan DiMaggio for the Carlton jumper which we auctioned off last week, and all the other businesses below. We hope everyone enjoyed the night!
