STEM Aviation Project

Last term, I reported that Sirat, Zoe M, Zoe G and Lucinda (all in 5M) won the St John's speed trials in the Year 5/6 STEM Aviation Project. Over the holidays, I submitted a video of their trial to Immersive Education, which conducted a virtual statewide competition. 

I am proud to announce that recently I received a notification that their plane came first in this competition. This follows on from the success we achieved the last time when we competed and came 2nd. 

Despite a significant crash during the project that left their plane in two pieces, the girls persevered, made the necessary repairs, and achieved victory. 

For the record, the speed achieved by the girls' plane was 40.72 km/h.
