Community News

I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself to the Quirindi, Walhallow and the  Werris Creek community.

My name is Sammy and I have been employed under Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service to provide free drug and alcohol and other forms of counselling and therapeutic intervention to your area. Clients do not need to be Indigenous and all ages and walks of life welcome. We are currently working out of the Winanga-Li building located on the corner of George and Henry Streets. However, we have the capacity to come into community and provide services in the home, school or workplace. We also have the capacity at this time to run small groups and provide psychoeducation to students and teachers.

I have been providing various different therapies and case management support for over 15 years and I am very excited to work and live in the Quirindi community. As I was born in a small community I understand the importance of confidentiality and pride myself on being discreet  when it comes to the clients we see.

For all enquiries or referrals please don't hesitate to reach out through the link below.

Kind Regards,

Sammy Hand
