Students have enjoyed looking at videos about French Christmas Markets and exploring vocabulary related to Christmas in France .

Here are some French Christmas Facts:

Did you know that Strasbourg started, and has held, the oldest Christmas market in Europe?

Did you know that in France children put out their shoes to get gifts from Père Noël?

And did you know that there is another special celebration on the 6th of January, with a special cake called Galette de Rois? Children  love this because if they find the special "Fève" in the cake they get to wear a crown and be king for the day!
