Foundation (Prep) 2026

Our School Transition Program for the 77 children enrolled to commence in Foundation (Prep) at EHPS in 2026 has concluded, with their orientation last Friday. 

 

We have loved getting to know the children and look forward to their start at primary school next year. The calendar for the start of the 2026 school year for our Foundation (Prep) students is as follows:

  • Thursday 29 January to Wednesday 4 February – Foundation (Prep) students attend their compulsory one hour school entry interview with their teacher at school on the date and time advised by email.
  • Thursday 5 February – first dayat school. Children have an allocated start time between 9am and 10am, specified in your school start document sent by email. Finish early at 1.30pm. After School Care for Foundation (Prep) students from 1.30pm if required; booking essential.
  • Friday 6 February – Foundation (Prep) students attend school from 8.50am to 2.30pm. After School Care for Foundation (Prep) students from 2.30pm if required; booking essential.
  • Monday 9 February onwards – Foundation (Prep) students commence fulltime from 8.50am to 3.30pm.

 

Families not in attendance at Orientation last Friday are requested to collect their child’s bag including their Welcome & Information Pack from our School Office early next week, and not later than Thursday 18 December.
