A look back on a huge year for the PFC

We’ve had an amazing year, starting with a bang at the Welcome Event, rolling into the adults-only Winery Tour, running our Mother’s and Father’s Day stalls and breakfasts, hosting the School Disco, celebrating World Teachers’ Day and of course, delivering a spectacular Carnival.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, or supported any of these events, every contribution helps make EHPS the amazing community that it is.

Fundraising Success

We are excited to share that the PFC raised $13,586.28 throughout the year through a huge range of community events, including the Family Welcome Night, Easter Raffle, Mother’s and Father’s Day Stalls and Treats, the School Disco, Wine Hop Tour, Parents Night Out, Entertainment Books, Ritchie’s IGA, Secondhand Uniforms, and more.

On top of that, our 2025 Carnival was a massive success, raising an incredible $67,987.00, our biggest total ever!

Together, this outstanding fundraising effort allows us to continue enhancing our school facilities. The funds raised this year will go towards improvements to the basketball courts, which will be completed over the Autumn school holidays in 2026.

Thank You to the 2025 Carnival Crew

A huge thank you to every member of our Carnival Crew. This team has been working since last November, planning, meeting and creating and everyone brought their own skills and energy to make that day what it was. You all made the magic happen, and I’m incredibly proud of what we pulled off together.

Thank You to the 2025 PFC Team

Thank you to everyone on the PFC team for your efforts this year. Your contributions, big and small, are appreciated.

Thank You to Nat Gilbert

I'd also like to say a big thank you and goodbye to Nat Gilbert. Nat has done a fantastic job leading Secondhand Uniforms, and she will be greatly missed. We wish her all the very best.

A Note from Sam Watson

After five wonderful years leading the PFC as President, this will be my final year in the role. It has been an absolute pleasure to be a part of building events, fundraisers and community spirit at EHPS. Over the years, I've made great friends and learned so much long the way.

I’d love to see some new faces join the PFC next year. If you’ve ever thought about getting involved or giving back, please consider joining, it’s rewarding, social, and a great way to make a difference.

The AGM will be held in March 2026, and all roles will be open for nomination.

On behalf of the PFC, thank you to our wonderful families, volunteers, staff and community for your support throughout the year.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, a relaxing break, and we can’t wait to see you all again in 2026.

Secondhand Uniform Donations & Lost Property

The second and final donation day for Term 4 and this school year was held today, Friday 12 December.

Thank you to all those families who donated uniform items that are no longer required. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to give these items new life with another family.

The next secondhand uniform sale will be held early in Term 1 2026. The date will be advised on Compass.

The lost property boxes have been emptied. Items will be sorted, named items returned to students next week, and all remaining items returned to boxes for collection before the end of term. Uncollected items will be stored for the sale in Term 1 next year; unsaleable items will be discarded.

Our school is part of the Ritchies Community Benefit Program (RCBP). EHPS received $24.17 from the RCBP in November, representing 0.5% of purchases made by customers who have selected EHPS as their organization to support.

If you shop at a Ritchies IGA (the local store is in Mount Waverley) and are a member of their loyalty program, please support EHPS by choosing our school as your nominated beneficiary. Each month we receive 0.5% of purchases made by customers who have selected our school each month. Please encourage family and friends who also shop at IGA to support EHPS.
