From the Boarding Captains

2025 has been an awesome and busy year in boarding, full of new friendships and fun activities. Looking ahead, we’re stoked to welcome new boarders in 2026! Boarding life is a great chance to become more independent, make close mates, and give new things a go. You’ll juggle your schoolwork with sports, clubs, and house competitions that make every day a bit of fun.

Being away from home can be a bit tricky at first, but you’ll quickly find heaps of support from teachers and fellow boarders. All in all, 2026 is shaping up to be a fantastic year to join our boarding community and make some unforgettable memories.

Tilly Norrish and I are super excited to be the Boarding Captains for 2026. We can’t wait to help new boarders settle in, make life in the house fun and welcoming, and work together to create a positive and friendly community for everyone.

Another year done — and honestly, it has absolutely flown by for my friends and me. So much has changed throughout the year: getting my leadership role, starting my School Based Traineeship and packing in plenty of sport. But as the year wraps up, boarding held another Christmas dinner, complete with some very interesting and entertaining performances from each boarding house, and of course, the best-tasting food to end the year on a high note. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
