Assistant Principal Report 

Welcome back everyone to another fantastic year at Whitehorse Primary School. 

Classrooms are buzzing with strong routines, growing confidence and great engagement as students settle into the new school year. They have been so happy to be back at school and back into it! 

A big welcome to our new Foundation students and families. The Foundation students have settled in so beautifully to school life and have been enjoying exploring all our school has to offer including our learning spaces, garden, playgrounds and specialist areas. 

Well done to our 2026 student leaders who did a fantastic job leading our first assembly last week. You could not tell it was their first time! A credit to our students, the work our team has done to prepare them and the handover they received from our 2025 student leaders at the end of last year. I am looking forward to working with our student leaders this year. 

Preparation is well underway for lots of exciting events across the school including community events, sports days and a range of wonderful educational experiences across classrooms and specialist areas. A big thank you to all our staff who have been working hard to set up these wonderful opportunities for our students.
