Compass Events

Compass is the main communication tool between home and school, with notifications from classrooms, whole school messages, event information (excursions/incursions), reminders, student led conference bookings, newsletter etc.  We strongly encourage all parents to regularly check in to avoid missing deadlines and important information - late payments will not be accepted.  

Events currently requiring parent consent/payment:

• Year 3 Camp Deposit - payment and consent due 25/5/26  (Balance due 3/8/26)
• Year 4 Camp Deposit - payment and consent due 19/7/26
• Year 5/6 District Sport - payment and consent due 22/5/26
• Division Cross Country (select students only) - payment and consent due 20/5/26

• Kaboom Percussion - payment and consent due 27/5/26

For short absences :

• Let the teacher know prior to leaving the dates your child will be absent
• Mark your absence on Compass BEFORE going away 
• Start of the absence - 9:00am on the first day your child will not be at school
• End of the absence - 3:30pm on the last day your child will not be at school.

For extended breaks (1 week and over):

• Notify your teacher of the absence dates
• Application must be made to the Principal and Absence Plan may be put in place
• Mark your absence on Compass BEFORE going away to ensure you do not receive an absence warning each morning you are away
• Start of the absence - 9:00am on the first day your child will not be at school
• End of the absence - 3:30pm on the last day your child will not be at school.
