Soccer tournament-

The soccer tournament was for the 5/6s and minimal year 4s. Our school came 3rd, we won one game and lost one game. We played against various challenging schools with heaps of talent. A wide cheer squad consists of the students that missed out on the opportunity of taking part in the school soccer team. 

Athletics- 

The athletics events consist of track and field. A variety of students from our school are participating in this year's athletics. All of these students have been chosen for their skill and potential and willingness to succeed in their sport.  The field events consist of:

1. Long jump 
2. High jump
3. Triple jump
4. Shotputt 
5. Discus 

The track events consist of 5 events as well as relay:

1. 100 metre
2. 200 metre
3. 400 metre
4. 800 metre 
5. 1500 metre 
6. Relay 

This is all of the news related to athletics.

The basketball team went to Jubilee Park to play a basketball tournament. They won four games and lost one so they did really well and played really great. They came second on the ladder. We wish them luck for their next tournament

Summer sport 

The summer sports this year are volleyball, basketball and softball. 

None of these sports are guaranteed just yet because of how small our school is some sports will not have a full team and will unfortunately not be happening 

Art Leaders

In performing Arts we have been looking at different types of music and dance styles in the last 60 years.

In all the classes they have been looking up the different dance styles to perform in front of their class. 

In Art we have been learning about an Artist called Claude Monet. He used an art style called impressionism.

Ms. Jones is bringing a Claude Monet Puzzle to show the kids. It is one of the rarest puzzles.

THE MONTHLY YARD REPORT

Exciting new upgrades have officially rolled out across the school grounds this month, completely transforming daily recess and lunchtime activities for all year levels.

In our top story, the highly anticipated Gaga pit has officially reopened to the public, with all surrounding boundaries permanently removed. To ensure fair play, school officials have implemented a strict weekly roster system: Grade 1 and 2 students take the arena on Mondays, Preps secure access on Wednesdays, Grade 3 and 4 students dominate on Thursdays, while senior Grade 5 and 6 students have secured double access on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Meanwhile, play leaders have launched a massive lunchtime entertainment overhaul to replace repetitive playground routines. Organisers have officially introduced a fresh rotation of high-energy games, including "Islands," "Yoshi," and a fast-paced "Rock Paper Scissors Race."
